The National Governor's Association, in partnership with the Administration and Bell Atlantic, have established a toll-free number (1-800-877-543-7669) to provide state specific information about Medicaid and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) to families across the country. Families accessing this number will receive information about eligibility criteria, benefits and how to apply for coverage.
All children in Arkansas should have medical insurance. Kids First is a program for families who do not have insurance for their children.
